Kelly Clarkson

Hello my name is Bridget and I am 15 years old and I got an amazing experience, I got to sing with Kelly Clarkson's band and meet her! 

Leading up to the soundcheck I was very excited and nervous. I am from Nantucket and I very lucky I got to have this experience and perform with a professional band! At the sound check Tim (tour manager) introduced me to the band. They all made me feel very welcome and they were all helpful, fun, and nice. Kelly's background singers, Jill and Kate were awesome! They were really so nice and helpful and I am so glad I got to meet them! I have to say being on the stage and singing with a band that is amazing was so much fun! I got to live my dream! After, I got to watch Kelly do her soundcheck and she told me I did a great job! And hearing those words from someone I look up to so much touch me and made my life. Not many people have there idols tell them they did a great job.

Then that night I went to the meet and greet. Kelly greeted me with open arms. We talked about how she should come to Nantucket and I thanked her for having this contest. I got a picture then went to my seats for the concert.

Kelly Clarkson is really an amazing performer. She gives a great show! It is the best concert I have ever been to. During the concert she also talked to us and joked around, you really felt like you knew her. She is a very nice, funny, and welcoming person. She really cares for her fans and wants to get to know them.

Thank you again Kelly for having this contest and letting me live my dream. This is something I will remember for the rest of my live.
